Those of you who are waiting for the coming open beta for Spirit Tales will have to wait a bit longer, as an unexpected glitch or three has come up that will hold things up for a bit.

Or to put it blunt faced, KoramGame Ltd. has announced that said opening will not be opening on April 25 as previously stated, but has instead been delayed until May 10 in order to fix some unexpected technical issues.

"It was a hard decision to make since we take our release schedule very seriously," says Spirit Tales general manager Yann Wang. "But problems have occurred that have made it difficult to incorporate certain features that are vital to the release of the game.

"Unfortunately, because of this, the game will not be ready on the date we had originally promised," Wang added. "However, the Spirit Tales team, and myself included, are optimistic that this short, but necessary delay, will ensure that we produce a much more complete and polished game."

That being said, there is a bright, illuminated spot on the map here: the delay effectively means that the full launch of the Spirit Tales open beta will arrive in the hands of a complete worldwide audience, and will allow for new system and server upgrades and delivery of the previously announced in-game features in time for the open beta period. Better content to help guide new players will also be added, and events that are specific to Spirit Tales will likely be coming around the same time.
