Free Realms Turn 3, Celebrates Birthday With Prizes, Quests, In-Game Events

Between the EVE Online 9th Anniversary event that kicked off on Sunday and this latest bit of birthday info from Free Realms, right now is a good time to be a player of MMORPGs (or a video game birthday enthusiast).
Sony's family friendly attempt at conquering the MMO scene, Free Realms, is about to celebrate its third birthday, with prizes, quests and "special" events in tow, which is very good news indeed for players of this cutesy fantasy MMO.
Free Realms, which is free to play, is now offering up a "special birthday hat", tons of in-game events and a collection of adorable birthday items, such as the party Piñata pet and birthday furniture. You're also promised the return of an "epic in-game world event featuring the return of one of Sacred Groves favorite villains, Cakenstein", birthday story quests and daily birthday items, all of which sound like a brilliant way to celebrate your third year of living.
