When I click on the downloaded file I keep getting 'World of Tanks: error, non 7z archive'. Is there something else I have to do to make my game run?

It either means your download didn't actually finish so you will have to redownload it and try again or your program (7zip) won't open that type of file, in which case you will have to download WinRAR and then use it to open the file.
