Despite being in the swing of its beta testing as well as its lucrative pre-order offers already being detailed, The Secret World is now a world in chaos as publisher of the modern day conspiracy MMO, EA, have chosen to delay the game's release.
Previously pencilled in for a late June release date (June 19th), EA have now set The Secret World release date as July 3rd.
In an official press release, EA have stated that this change of release date for The Secret World is down to "market reasons", which, in layman's terms, means that they've done so in order to boost the games sales - a less saturated release window giving the game more of a chance at hitting the charts and selling well.
EA have also said that early access for The Secret World will begin on June 29th, just 4 days before the game's official release date.
