This guide was originally written as a first impressions guide, but that seven thousand line long document was worded improperly and had a lot of noobish mistakes. That's why this guide is defaulted as Version 2.0.0.

The way to determine if there have been updates is to keep an eye on the version information. A.B.C is determined as follows;
* A is a complete guide rewrite.
* B is a section addition.
* C is a minor grammatical update.
** Concerning the release of champions every two weeks, they'll be added as a C update.
*** Concerning major changes due to patches, the coverage will be added in the game current version update and will be addressed as a B update.

This guide as a whole is written for players that have not started League of Legends yet. It's written for the complete novice to jump in with a healthy understanding of how to act and play.

While there is information that might be deemed as obscure, it isn't written for the sake of advanced players. It is much easier to find exact champion specific numbers and skill effects on the league of legends wiki, or various other fansites such as Solomid.net.
